PT Mora Telematika Indonesia, Tbk (MORATELINDO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China Huaxin Post and Telecom Technologies Co, Ltd (HXPT) to enhance the quality and scale of their network.

The event occurred at the Moratelindo headquarters in Graha 9, Menteng, Central Jakarta. It began with a company profile video and speeches from each representative, followed by the signing of the MoU between MORATELINDO, represented by Mr. Michael McPhail as Chief Technology Officer, and HXPT, represented by Mr. Tang Hui as Vice President.

As a telecommunications and information technology company, HXPT provides services to the telecommunication operators such as design, construction, scientific research, and capital operation. In this collaboration, MORATELINDO is willing to take advantage of HXPT's technology in transmission network construction, fixed-line broadband access, network optimization, and financing ability. That can support MORATELINDO's vision to provide innovation and improve service quality to reach a bigger market in Indonesia and globally.

"HXPT provided an end-to-end telecommunication solution for construction on fix mobile, broadband infrastructure network, from network designing, procurement, installation, commissioning, and the task even through network of maintenance and optimization. We can also provide a competitive finance solution to have our customer conduct a network of deployment," said Vice President of HXPT, Mr. Tang Hui (16/2/2023).

Both parties agreed to hold further discussions regarding two projects to be implemented as soon as possible: the Moratelindo FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) Project and the Moratelindo National DWDM Project (including its services and maintenance).

The collaboration between the two parties is expected to boost economic growth in Indonesia, especially in the digital industry.
